Any thoughts of tonight's game: Texas A&M/VT????

I like the VT tonight with -13.5. Since the Hurricane has already land there. And tonight's game mostly be the ground game, and VT will cover the pts and Win this Big. As you can see that Texas A&M lost one of their middle linebacker. Their Defense should wear down, and their Defense can't hold the VT scoring tonight. VT Rushing Back will be the Key for tonight's game. Also, The VT have home advantage and for Texas you never see Hurricane while Texas A&M playing at home. So, I think VT will get them big tonight.

I have a few friends that are Aggie fans and to a man they said Morris was by far the best player on their defense. I've had this game circled for awhile and really like V. Tech. I just wish there weren't outside factors like the weather. We will see.

mansiu - did you know VT's RB-Kevin Jones sprained both his wrists when he was pushed into a concrete wall last game? He was prone to fumbling before this injury. Adding the inj + wet weather (70% chance of rain and 20+ mph winds) = 1 or 2 fumbles allowing A&M to perhaps stay within 2 tds.

Plus the bad weather seems to me to point to an 'Under.' Since passing should be next to impossible, both Ds will crowd the line to stop the run making for a low scoring game. Watch the weather reports as I believe they could be key to tonite's outcome--especially the total.

We can't 'all win together' because we're on different sides and totals, but good luck on your other bets this week-end.

Olddog -- What's the chance you can increase the size of that picture??

Anyway, bad weather, bad hands for Jones...lots and lots of fumbles...can see both teams turning it over a number of times (it will even out) and hopefully in their own territory. lots and lots of points off turnovers. V Tech puttting BIG HEAT on the aggies punter -- who because of weather, will have a tough time controlling those snaps. points on special teams.

Book knows that public is salivating at the under becaus of weather problems, book sets number and is usually right. no matter, at least one of us will beat the man GLTA

If VT RB Jones was prone to fumbling and now has two sprained wrist on top of that which will cause easier fumbles, plus, the 70% chance of rain (wet ball), and high winds, poor punting avg, don't they all point to TO and short fields? OVER looks good, but not for me. Just looking from the outside.

Shrink - I dont know how you can say the weather will not affect tonite's game very much (in another thread) - its pouring rain and very windy and getting worse.

Ladies - I still like my 'U' 47 tonite - got it yesterday at BetLasPalmas. Will bet some off, for middle opportunity, but not much.

Yes, there will be TOs, but they wont necessarily be run back for tds. Ds will crowd line to stop run and passing will be impossible in these winds. Should be a fun game.
